Socioeconomic Impacts in Alaska

The BLM's management of public lands in Alaska supported more than 1,000 jobs in Fiscal Year 2010.  Most of the jobs were related to oil and gas, which resulted in an economic impact of about $206 million.  The overall BLM economic impact was about $254.7 million.  This table provides employment and economic output by category.  Economic output data are in millions of dollars.
