The Bureau of Land Management's My Public Lands Tumblr blog tells the BLM story primarily through the eyes of our youngest employees and volunteers. Through stories, photos, videos and other multi-media, they share their perspectives on public lands and news about things happening on public lands every day.
Our bloggers come from BLM offices around the country. We even have bloggers who are virtual interns and participants in a BLM youth leadership group. Their backgrounds, locations, and perspectives vary greatly, but they all have one thing in common: they value and protect your public lands.
Read the first Tumblr story from our bloggers - in August 2012.
We are a group of young people from around the country who work for the Bureau of Land Management. We represent a wide variety of positions that manage your public lands using science, resource planning and communications. We want to share our experiences with you, as well as what we love about public lands and natural resources.
Like the lands we manage, our bloggers have unique backgrounds, locations and perspectives that will provide a fresh commentary on what is occurring on your public lands. Our stories promise to engage, inform and inspire you to get out and explore your public lands. Follow our blog to start the adventure!
