BLM New Media Strategy
The BLM uses new media tools to connect you, the American public, with your public lands and to keep you informed about activities on those public lands.
In this guide, you can read about our new media standards and policies as they support the four goals of the BLM External New Media Strategy. These standards and policies are subject to change as new tools are authorized or best practices emerge.
The BLM will use new media to become a more transparent agency and deliver rich, meaningful content.
The BLM will use new media to raise awareness of the BLM's mission and activities.
The BLM will use new media to recruit and retain a diverse and talented workforce.
The BLM will continue to be a leading Department of the Interior (DOI) agency in the use of external new media.
For more information about our national approach to new media, read the BLM External New Media Strategy below, also available for download at http://on.doi.gov/BLMNewMediaStrategy.
