EMS TRANSMISSION 11/02/2005 Instruction Memorandum No. 2006-020 Expires: 09/30/2007 To: State and Center Directors Attention: State and Center Safety Managers From: Chief Human Capital Management Project Director Subject: FY2005 Annual Accomplishments and FY2006 Safety Action Plans DD: 11/18/2005 This Instruction Memorandum directs States and Centers to develop a synopsis of their Safety and Health Program accomplishments for FY2005, and a Safety Action Plan for FY2006. Multi-year Action Plans should also be submitted. These documents are due to (WO-740) by November 18, 2005. Safety accomplishments for FY 2005 should be developed for major program accomplishments in the following six categories (also see BLM Manual Handbook 1112-1): Program Management Training Inspections Safety and Health Promotion Accident Investigation/Reporting Program Evaluation Establishing statewide/center goals is an important cornerstone to every Safety and Health Program. Safety Action Plans for FY2006 should include major program goals and timeframes in the six categories itemized above.
