The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the Division of Decision Support, Planning and
NEPA (WO-210) currently have several Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) working in the
Washington Office.  The Presidential Management Fellowship program is a highly competitive,
government-wide professional development program designed to prepare individuals for
management careers within the Federal government.  Individuals hired through the PMF
program are highly skilled recent graduates of a variety of master's and doctoral-level programs. Fellows receive an initial two-year full-time excepted service appointment, after which they are eligible for non-competitive conversion to a permanent Federal government position.  (For more information see the PMF program website at www.pmf.opm.gov)

The purpose of this Information Bulletin is to inform offices about the opportunity to hire PMFs
non-competitively for vacant or opening positions.  The following two BLM Washington Office
PMFs are currently seeking permanent positions in a Field, District or State Office:
(1)   Megan Stouffer interested in Planning and Environmental Coordinator positions; and
(2)   Frank Quamen, interested in Wildlife Biologist or Conservation Biologist positions.

Resumes, including dates of availability, are available upon request from the PMFs.
For additional information or to discuss potential job opportunities, please contact
Megan Stouffer at 202-557-3579 or Frank Quamen at 202-557-3588 by April 17, 2009.  For
