Virgin River Comprehensive Management Plan
Since portions of the Virgin River and its tributaries have been designated as a wild and Scenic River, we are working on a Comprehensive River Management Plan for the river. This is a joint effort between the National Park Service and the Bureau of Land Management. The first key step in this planning process is defining the “Outstandingly Remarkable Values” (ORV) for various river segments. We have completed draft ORV statements and would like your feedback on them. We are also interested in your interests, concerns and issues related to the river and river corridor. The best way to provide feedback is to view the ORV document online.
