BLM Posts Proposed Parcel List for November Lease Sale
Salt Lake City—The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Utah Green River District Office today posted the list of parcels proposed for auction at the quarterly competitive oil and gas lease sale scheduled for , in Salt Lake City. Posting initiates a 30-day public protest period.
The list includes 82 proposed parcels covering 143,982 acres in the Price and Vernal Field Offices. The Price Field Office contains 75 parcels covering 138,476 acres; the Vernal Field Office has seven parcels covering 5,506 acres. All 75 parcels are identified as available to oil and gas leasing under the current resource management plans for the Price and Vernal Field Offices.
All protests must be received no later than 4:30 p.m., Sept. 16, 2013. For information on how to file a timely protest, please refer to the November 2013 Notice of Competitive Lease Sale, which can be accessed online at:
