Christmas Tree-Cutting Permits On Sale


The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Utah will be selling Christmas tree-cutting permits for pinyon pine and juniper trees in some areas.

Tree-cutting permits will be available at the following locations:

Salt Lake Field Office (SLFO)
Dates:  November 5 - December 24
Cost:  $10 each with a limit of two (2) per household
Type:  Juniper and Pinyon Pine
Where to purchase permits:  SLFO, 2370 South 2300 West, Salt Lake City

Fillmore Field Office (FFO)
Dates:  November 13 - December 24
Cost:  $5 each with a limit of one (1) per household (500 permits will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis)
Type:  Juniper and Pinyon Pine
