Posey Lake Road

The lands along the Posey Lake Road are sagebrush steppe and home to antelope, sage grouse, pygmy rabbits as well as prairie dogs. The portion of the Scenic backway managed by the Richfield Field office crosses the Aawapa Plateau, also known as the Parker Mountain. This road is primarily single lane dirt with gravel in places.

The Scenic backway starts at the town of Bicknell and ends at the town of Escalante.
