Mayfield (White Hills)

Located along Arrapean Hills to the west of the town of Mayfield in San Pete County. The area covers all public lands with the north boundary being State Highway 137, the east and west sides being private lands, and the south western edge is a State Lands parcel. There are about 1500 acres and they provide a good staging areas for trail rides into the surrounding USDA Forest lands managed by the Manti-La Sal National Forest.

There are excellent OHV riding opportunities, for hill climbing, trail riding and general play riding.  Some areas on the northwest side have primitive camping area. There is good all-weather access points located on the northwest and east sides for staging sites.  The local community and users may be supportive and provide assistance.
