Fire Prevention and Mitigation

Fire Prevention and Mitigation activities for the Richfield Field Office vary and include coordinating with other federal, state, and local agencies in fire prevention planning, as well as working cooperatively on various fire prevention and wildland fire safety programs.

The fire prevention and mitigation program provides a varity of visual information/education signs, flyers, brochures, newspaper articles, and radio PSA's to the public.  The program also participates in local community events to promote awareness at various fairs, festivals, clubs, homeowner association meetings, and schools throughout the Central Utah Interagency Zone.
