There is one group campsite at Windwhistle. The site accommodates 10 to 15 people. The site is intended for walk-in tent camping only. Parking is limited to approximately five passenger cars (no RV parking exists).

Windwhistle Campground serves as headquarters for the 100,000 acre Canyon Rims Recreation Area. It is also near the Needles Section of Canyonlands National Park. The group site at Windwhistle nestles against Rone Bailey Mesa, a large sandstone monolith. Views to the north are outstanding, and include Behind the Rocks and the LaSal Mountains. Nighttime brings the best stargazing opportunities in the state of Utah. Remote yet convenient, the Windwhistle Group Campsite offers a very private setting for your group.
