|Upper Onion Creek Reservable Group Campsite|
How to Get There: The Onion Creek Group Campsites are located about 22 miles east of Moab. Take SR 128 to the Onion Creek Road, between mile marker 21 and 22, where a sign marks the road. Continue 0.6 miles on the graded dirt road, then turn left into the group campground.
Group Site A has a wooden horse corral with 4 separate 15 foot by 15 foot enclosures. The corral can accommodate up to 8 horses (2 per enclosure). Equestrians must bring their own feed, weed free hay is required, and must clean up and carry out all solid horse waste.
Site Size: Both sites hold 8 to 20 people. No more than 4 vehicles with horse trailers can be accommodated at Site A. It is possible to reserve both sites which would provide a maximum group size of 40 people.
Campsite Regulations: Campground regulations apply to the group site as well. Please make sure that every member of your group is familiar with the camping regulations.
For reservations, please call the Moab Field Office at (435) 259-2102, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
