How to Get There: The Ken’s Lake
Group Campsites are located approximately nine miles south of Moab, Utah. To reach Ken’s Lake from the Moab Information Center (Center and Main in Moab), travel south on Utah Highway 191 for 7.8 miles. A sign indicates the La Sal Mountain Loop Road. Turn left at the sign. After ½ mile, the road will reach a “T.” Turn right. Follow the paved road approximately 1.45 miles to the first paved road on the left. Turn left onto this road and go ½ mile to the Ken’s Lake Recreation Site. Follow signs to the campground, approximately ¼ mile.
Site Size: Site A holds 15 to 50 people, numerous vehicles, and up to 8 horses. Site B (formerly Site C) holds 15 to 20 people and up to 10 vehicles. Overflow parking is available nearby.
Fees: The fee for group camping is $4.00 per person per night for Site A and $3.50 per person per night for Site B, plus a $20.00 reservation fee. You must pay for the minimum number listed for the site you are reserving. There will be a $20.00 fee each time you change the location or date of your group reservataion. Any changes to the number of people in your group can be made without incurring this charge. All fees are nonrefundable.
Campsite Regulations: Campground regulations apply to the group site as well. Please make sure that every member of your group is familiar with the camping regulations.
- No amplified music is allowed in the campground at any time.
- Quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Generator hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. only
- Wood collecting or cutting is prohibited
- Campfires are only permitted in the provided grills or fire pits.
- Dogs must be leashed at all times.
- Check out time is Noon
