The Horsethief Campground is located on Hwy 313, a Utah Scenic Byway. This highway is the access road to Dead Horse Point State Park and to the Island in the Sky District of Canyonlands National Park. Park visitor centers can provide information on attractions at each site. Hwy 313 also provides access to the Gemini Bridges Road, Dubinky Well Road, and Mineral Bottom Road which in turn offer access to a network of designated dirt routes for your exploration. These routes are not marked, so carry a map, and always stay on the designated routes.
