Escalante Natural Bridge

Hikers must be willing to walk in water. The hike begins at the Escalante River trailhead on Hwy 12, 14 miles east of Escalante. This is an easy 4.0 mile round trip hike. From the trailhead, walk 2.0 miles upstream following social trails adjacent to the Escalante River to the natural bridge which will be visible on the left side of the canyon. If you want a longer hike, continue 1.0 mile further upstream to Sand Creek canyon which will enter on the right.
