
White Rocks Range WSA
Size: 24,065 acres
Location: The WSA is located in Beaver County.
Vegetation: Most of the WSA is forested with juniper, pinyon-juniper woodland, and fir woodland, varying by elevation.
General Description: The WSA is made up of gentle mountain terrain with associated foothills and bench lands. The broad, north-south trending range is dissected by numerous side canyons and drainages. The larger Western portion of the WSA in Nevada was designated Wilderness in 2004 as part of the LCCRDA (Lincoln County Conservation Recreation Development Act).
Special Features: A small elk herd resides in the area, as well as mule deer
