There are many areas in the Cedar City Field office perfect for hiking. Both day hikes and longer overnight backpacking trips can be planned. Some choose to hike our Rocky Peak Trail at Three Peaks for a short hike with great views of the valley below. Others choose to hike to the top of Granite Peak for a longer more strenuous hiking experience. For those seeking slot canyons, Kanarra Falls and Spring Creek both offer non-technical canyoneering experiences. For individuals seeking solitude, the White Rocks Range and Wah Wah WSA’s offer primitive backpacking and hiking experiences.

The Cedar City Field Office BLM offers many hiking opportunities. While we have a limited amount of designated trails, we cover a vast area with many hiking opportunities and landmarks throughout it. Here is a list of hiking trails available in the Cedar City Field Office:

Please practice Leave No Trace principles whenever hiking and backpacking. Happy Hiking!
