BLM Recreation & Public Purposes lease and patent brings practical & recreational benefits to the town of Kanarraville, Utah

Utah BLM Director Selma Sierra traveled to the town of Kanarraville, Utah on Wednesday May 7, 2008 to present the community with an R&PP lease and patent. The land will be used for a transfer site and recreational ball field.Kanarraville Mayor Galen Allred received a Recreational and Public Purposes patent and lease Wednesday May 7, 2008 on the behalf of the community of Kanarraville. Roughly seven acres will be used for a ball field and two acres will be used as a transfer site. As part of the agreement, the town of Kanarraville, partnering with BLM & DWR will enhance 17 acres of crucial deer winter range.
