Emergency stabilization and post-fire rehabilitation efforts center on restoring the land to its natural state after fires.  Fire crews stay active year round from fighting fire to restoring the natural state of public lands

Current Projects

Thousands of acres are blackened each summer by wildfires.  In the aftermath of wildfires, the Cedar City Fuels program implements emergency stabilization and post-fire rehabilitation plans on public lands within the counties of Beaver, Iron, Garfield, Kane and Washington.
