Please see the planning process timeline for an overall project schedule. Public scoping open houses were held during the first week of November 2004, and an economic profile workshop was held on November 9, 2004. The BLM held three public meetings to discuss the Draft RMP/EIS in Riggins, Grangeville, and Lewiston, Idaho, on October 17, 18, and 19, 2006, respectively. Each meeting was held in an open house format and featured displays, maps, and an interdisciplinary team of BLM resource specialists to provide information and answer questions.
