Birds of the Table Rocks
Lark Sparrow
I am an all brown bird with unique rust red, white and black head pattern. My white breast has a spot right in the middle.
You may find me in the open meadows in the Oak Savanna or in the grassland on the top of Table Rocks.
Females build a cup nest on the ground in my species and may lay three to six pale white eggs with brown markings. Like most sparrows, I like to eat seeds and insects.
