I am a large chocolate brown to black kingsnake with a highly variable back and belly pattern.

I live near rocks, grasslands, or in the chaparral areas on Table Rocks. I am active during the day, especially early in the morning or near dusk. I become nocturnal in the warm summer months. I live on the ground, but occasionally climb into shrubs.
