I am a robin sized bird all gray-brown above and below, with buff or rust-colored under my tail.

I live in the Chaparral plant community on the Table Rocks. When you hear a sharp chink and thin tseeee coming from a bush, you have found me.

I lay three or four bluish-green eggs, lightly spotted or scrawled with blackish-brown markings, in a cup nest placed low in a bush or young tree.
