Spokane District  |  WA

Season Dates:  1/1 - 12/31

Fees:  none

The protected Watmough Bay provides excellent recreational opportunities and many boaters and visitors enjoy its solitude and protection. An extensive eel grass and seaweed seafloor provide excellent habitat for juvenile Chinook salmon and other species which call this place home. Utilizing dinghies, sea kayaks and other non-motorized smaller skiffs visitors come to Watmough beach to relax, picnic, sightsee, and view wildlife. A trail from the trailhead parking area to the beach allows easy access for all visitors. Watmough Bay is cooperatively managed with the San Juan County Land Bank and San Juan Preservation Trust who share portions of the area and adjacent properties
