The Felton Memorial Trail is a short scenic trail connected to the Enchanted Forest Trail. The trail leads to a memorial dedicated to three men who died in a helicopter accident at the site. The men were Jeffrey Wayne Felton, Karl Alan Hansen and Dale Vernon Siegel. Poison Oak is in the area. Scenic views of the Slagle Creek Valley and Applegate Valley are provided. This is a destination trail only, leading directly to the memorial site. Do not block gate when parking at the trailhead.

Directions:
From Medford travel 21 miles west on Highway 238 to the town of Applegate. Turn right on the North Applegate Road. Follow this road for four miles then turn right on Kubli Creek Road for only one tenth of a mile. From there, turn right on Slagle Creek Road for 1.5 miles until the pavement ends near a green gate. The Enchanted Forest Trail starts at the green gate follow this trail for seven tenths of a mile, until you reach the trailhead of the Felton Memorial Trail.
