This popular recreation area boasts one of the coast's finest camp grounds and a warm, sandy beach. The lake is perfect for swimming, fishing, and water skiing. Campsites, some accessible, are available for both tent campers and those with motor homes.

From State Hwy. 38, watch for signs 20 miles east of Reedsport. Turn south onto County Road 3, travel seven miles to Loon Lake Recreation Site. There is a private, commercial lodge by the same name a mile further. The Physical Address is 7273 Loon Lake Road Reedsport, OR 97467
