Fees: Camping fees $12 a night. Extra vehicles $5 a night.
Yellowbottom will not be open for Memorial Day weekend, but may be open later this summer. Call the Salem District Office for more information.
Yellowbottom offers 22 first come-first served tent sites in an old growth forest along the beautiful Quartzville Creek. The campground is located at milepost 24 of the Quartzville Back Country Byway, northeast of Sweet Home and upstream of Green Peter Reservoir.
The 13 acre campground was developed in 1964. The site offers a camp host, a solar water system that provides potable water, river access, hiking trails, vault toilets, garbage service, and a day-use area with 5 picnic sites. From Sweet Home Oregon, head east on U.S. Highway 20 and approximately one mile out of town turn left on the Quartzville Access Road heading towards Green Peter Reservoir and Quartzville Creek. Yellowbottom is located on the left side of the road approximately 24 miles up Quartzville Road.
