Millpond Recreation Site

Roseburg District  |  OR

Season Dates:  5/9 - 9/28

Fees:  $10 per night, $4 extra vehicle. Pavilion use fee is $110 and deposit is $250

Nestled along the clear waters of Rock Creek, Millpond's lush forest gives way to spacious grassy areas, great for day-use and running the kids. Visit and find a children's play area, a large ball field, interpretive info, water play area, and a reservable 42'x 72' pavilion. There is a short nature trail on the west end of the campground and the mile long Sawmill Trail to the east. Rock Creek is closed by Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife to all fishing. Pets are allowed in the campground and day use area, but must be kept on a six foor or shorter leash. Pets are not allowed in the swimming hole. Note that the ballfield and pavilion area's grass is green in April and May, but may not be so later in the summer depending on summer temperatures. Firewood is available for $5 a bucket near the host site. For groups over 25, a reservation is required for pavilion use. To reserve the pavilion up to a year in advance, call 1-877-444-6777 or go to www.recreation.gov. All restrooms, spigots, pathways, hiking trails, the pavilion, and parking areas are accessible to people who use wheelchairs. In the campground, all sites but #1 are accessible.
