Green Mountain facilities include a vault toilet, picnic tables, and fire grates. This camping area gives the visitor a panoramic view of the lava flows, cinder cones, and desert landscape of the Fort Rock and Christmas Valley area. The fire lookout atop Green Mountain is manned from June through October.
