Summary: The Proposed Action is to grant Sourwood Running LLC a Special Recreation Permit for use of BLM managed roads and waysides on June 21 and 22, 2013, for the Wild Rogue Relay. The overall event is a two day, approximately 213 mile running relay race for approximately 800 runners in 70 teams. Approximately 140 shuttle vehicles would be used to support the runners. No more than 70 runners would be running at any given time. Event time on BLM lands would be less than 24 hours. Setup would begin on June 20, 2013, and cleanup is required within 24 hours after the conclusion of the event.
