Summary: The Jordan Resource Area, Vale District BLM, has completed for public review, an Environmental Assessment (DOI-BLM-OR-V040-2011-071-EA) that proposes to authorize and develop three rock aggregate sites along the Soldier Creek Road (SCR) to facilitate road maintenance. The proposed action will be implemented in accordance with and subject to the guiding land use plan - the Southeastern Oregon Resource Management Plan and Final EIS.
