Summary: The Horseshoe commercial thinning project (Horseshoe) will occur on seven units (approximately 336 acres) of second-growth forest approximately 41-61 years old located in the Little River Fifth-field Watershed in Sections 23, 26, 27 and 35 of T. 26 S., R. 3 W. Willamette Meridian (Figure 1). In addition, approximately 7 acres will be removed for the development of spur roads and rights-of-ways. Horseshoe will provide approximately 5.732 million board feet of timber available for auction.
