Teacher Resources
Field Trip Information: We offer a self-guided activity based program that students can follow at their own speed, individually or in groups. We offer living history interpretive programs, exhibits, multi-media presentations, and four miles of trails that interpret the Oregon Trail, natural history, and mining history.
Explorers Traveling Trunk: If you can't come to the Interpretive Center, the Center will come to you. One of our interpreters is available on a limited basis to travel to your class (within 100 miles of Baker City) to present a living history presentation on explorers and fur traders, and the skills they needed to successfully complete their expeditions.
