    <descript>
rab_arc: This theme shows line representation of jurisdictional Bureau of Land Management Resource Area perimeters for Oregon and Washington. The "shoreline" has been calculated to the 3 mile mark off the coastline indicating the extent of state and county jurisdiction.
      <purpose>This data set is used for depicting the Resource Area Boundary on maps. Resource Area boundaries are dissolved to form District boundaries. Polygons created from the data are used for various analytical purposes, including clipping data and calculating acreage.</purpose>
      <supplinf>Boundary definitions reference features or positions depicted in other GIS layers. The data from those layers is copied to create the Resource Area Boundary layer. Vertical integration with other layers will be maintained to ensure the most accurate representation.</supplinf>
