Geodetic Control Database
The Database of Geodetic Control was established using NAVSTAR GPS or TRANSIT Doppler satellite observations.
Choose a query type, and then fill in and submit the query form online. A query results page will display a list of geodetic control stations which match your query; then select the desired station to display the data sheet for that station. Data sheets may be printed or saved to your computer. Note: Data sheets generated do not have unique file names. When saving data sheets to disk make sure to type in a unique file name for each data sheet to avoid overwriting previously saved data sheets.
Due to the nature of the processing software, the Doppler control data and some of the early GPS control observed with the Motorola Eagle GPS receivers do not have error ellipses available.
These are the currently available queries:
- Township, Range, Section
- Latitude & Longitude Min and Max
- Latitude & Longitude Radial Search
- EC Number, Group Number or Station Name
- BLM District, County, State
- USGS 7½ Minute Quadrangle
