SAMPLE_PT: This dataset represents monitoring and sample locations (points). Monitoring is a generic term describing various kinds of assessment that the BLM makes on public land natural resources and/or management actions undertaken. The SAMPLE_PT dataset represents places where a measurement of some type has occurred.

Purpose:

This dataset is used to depict sample points on maps. For any particular area or resource, the dataset shows all types of monitoring and sampling that has occurred. In addition, for any particular type of sampling, the dataset lists all the sample locatio
