Counterpart Regulations Training and Certification
Endangered Species Act Counterpart Regulations for National Fire Plan Project (Course # 1386) provides users with a working knowledge of the ESA counterpart regulations and the Alternative Consultation Agreements, and provides context for conducting and documenting Biological Assessment/Biological Evaluation effects analyses under the national Fire Plan.
BLM employees can receive on-line training through DOI Learn.
Non-BLM employees should go to the DOI Learn Course Catalog. To find the course, enter the course number, 1386, and select “Search.” To enroll in the on-line course select the course name, Endangered Species Act – Counterpart Regulations for Fire Plan Projects, and select “Apply” on the next screen.
