Summary: In 2005, the Vale District recognized a significant historic Emergency Stabilization and Rehabilitation (ESR) workload and identified a need to prepare a Normal Fire Emergency Stabilization and Rehabilitation Plan (NFESRP) that would provide program consistency and streamline the implementation process. The NFESRP is a programmatic document analyzed in an Environmental Assessment (EA) that was developed for the Vale District and contains a description of ESR treatments that would be implemented under normal conditions in the event of a wildland fire and documentation of the potential treatment impacts.
