Baker Resource Area RMP Revision
Welcome to the website for the Baker Resource Management Plan Revision. We hope this website will help you stay up-to-date on the revision effort and provide information about how you can be involved in the process. We appreciate your participation and look forward to continuing our work together.
The Vale District of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has recently begun the process of preparing a revised RMP for BLM-managed lands within the Baker Resource Area. The previous RMP, finalized in 1989, is in need of revision to establish further management guidance and to update objectives and policies. The revised plan will provide a comprehensive framework for managing and allocating public lands and resources in the Baker Resource Area for the next 15 to 20 years.
The Draft Baker Resource Management Plan Revision is available on the Draft RMP page.
The Public Comment Period Closed on March 23rd, 2012
BLM has considered all comments on the Draft RMP/EIS and will publish responses in our Proposed RMP/Final EIS.
