Bonita Complex Fire

On July 8, 2012, a lightning caused wildfire located 20 miles south of Burn Junction, Oregon burned 558,198 acres or approximately 872 square miles of land. This fire was declared contained on July 15th but not declared controlled until July 30th. The District continues efforts to stabilize and perform emergency rehabilitation of the burned areas.
