Bonita Complex Fire
On July 8, 2012, lightning started three fires 8 miles southwest of Brogan, Oregon. All these fires were lumped together for management purposes to become the Bonita Complex. Together the fires burned 18,173 acres or 28.4 square miles. The complex of fires were contained on July 16 and declared controlled on July 17th. The District continues efforts to stabilize and perform emergency rehabilitation of the burned areas.
