Summary: This action includes the development of a 72.5 acre federal parcel situated just southeast of Benton City, WA. The parcel will be mined for sand and gravel under a competitive contract by the highest acceptable bidder. As specified in 43 CFR 3000.4 (Appeals) and 43 CFR 4.411, any party that feels they are adversely affected by this decision has 30 days from the date this decision is made available at the Spokane District Office to file an appeal. The document will also be available on the District internet site at http://www.blm.gov/or/districts/spokane/index.htm. This decision is effective upon expiration of this appeals period.
