Summary: It has been decided to approve the rock barrier, gate, and sign installation along the boundary of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and private land at the Umtanum recreation site. This action is specifically provided for in the BLM's 1988 Yakima River Canyon Recreation Management Plan. No significant impacts are expected from the installation of the boulder barrier, gate, and signs approved by this action.
