The Bureau of Land Management, Marys Peak Resource Area, will be felling conifer trees into the South Fork Alsea River and Trout Creek for large woody debris. This activity was analyzed under the Salem District Aquatic and Riparian Habitat Restoration EA: http://www.blm.gov/or/districts/salem/plans/files/DR_final.pdf. The project is located in Riparian Reserves land use allocation, T. 14 S., R. 7 W., Sections 15, 19, 21, 23, and 26, within the Upper Alsea River 5th field watershed in Benton County, Oregon.
