Salem District

Documents in Project

Decision Rationale USFS EA Planning Completed
The proposed action includes the placement of approximately 70 trees within Bull Run Creek using a helicopter to restore in-stream habitat conditions. Logs will provide structure for in-stream diversity, slow water velocity, create and increase pool depth and trap gravels for spawning habitat. The project will also increase complexity and diversity of habitat conditions for resident fish.
