| Summary: The Cascades Resource Area Field Manager has made a decision on the Keel Mountain Density Management and Riparian Buffer Study project. The project is a continuation of an on-going research project studying thinning treatments, and is located in Section 13, T. 12S., R. 1E., W.M. The project area is approximately 13 miles east of Lebanon, OR in Linn County, on Upper Hamilton Creek Road. The Selected Action is to thin 155 acres of 56 year-old timber stands in the Matrix and Riparian Reserve Land Use Allocations. The thinning would be implemented through a timber sale. | |
