| Summary: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has conducted an environmental analysis for the Parker Bear LSR (Late Successional Reserve) Enhancement Project 1, which is documented in the Parker Bear Late Successional Reserve Enhancement Environmental Assessment (EA# OR080-04-18) and the associated project file. The proposed action is to thin 40-70 year old mixed conifer stands on 247 acres within LSRand Riparian Reserve Land Use Allocations (LUA's). A Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) was signed on June 16, 2005 and the EA and FONSI were then made available for public review. The decision documented in this Decision Rationale (DR) is based on the analysis documented in the EA. This decision authorizes the implementation of only those activities directly related to and included within the timber sale. | |
