Summary: The Marys Peak Resource Area Field Manager has made a decision to perform density management on approximately 188 acres of 35-65 year old stands within Late-Successional Reserve and Riparian Reserve Land Use Allocations. Other actions include approximately 9.3 miles of road renovation and 1.8 miles of road construction. Constructed roads will be decommissioned after harvest. The proposed project is located in T. 14 S., R. 7 W., Sections 1, 11, and 12, within the Upper Alsea River 5th field watershed in Benton County, Oregon. This project is one of three timber sales from the Revised Upper and Lower Alsea Watershed Restoration EA
