| Summary: The Bureau of Land Management is considering a program of work to enhance wildlife habitat through the creation of CWD (Course Woody Debris) in the Tillamook Resource Area of the Bureau of Land Management, Salem District. Specific treatments would involve a variety of techniques to enhance current and future wildlife habitat within the treated areas including the creation of snags, snag-topped green trees and felling trees. The program of work would be implemented throughout the Tillamook RA although treatments would primarily be focused on lands within the Late Succesional Reserve and Riparian Reserve Land Use Allocations as identified in the Salem District RMP. The program would be implemented over a period of approximately 10 years. | |
